Land with front foot pointing slightly more towards batsman to eliminate necessity to have to land at front foot contact and then rotate this out of action quite so much (wouldn't be such a bad thing if looking to bowl off-spin as this is essential to pivot and ensure 180 deg rotation). This will allow for a more stable base at release and forward drive through & out of action.
Try to prevent bowling arm going beyond back (right) hip in gather as this will encourage bowling arm to be more rounded when coming forwards. Aim for arms to be working as straight as possible, with front arm pulling straight down (which does happen at present) allowing bowling arm to rotate over as high/straight as possible and drive forwards out of action. |
