Goals / Objectives leading into 2016:

BATTING
Stance currently quite open meaning head is susceptible to falling off side and with front foot/shoulder opening up it will encourage Nathan to go across straight balls (see his back lift going towards gully rather than straight - or straight ish). See some examples of this on Video 1 below
Opportunities for improvement:
- Feet squarer to aim to support a fixed head position with eyes level allowing weight to move towards the ball
- Back lift straighter to increase possibility of contact straight through the line of the ball
- The above will increase the likelihood of being able to work with a good, well balanced stride out towards the ball when playing on the front foot to hit from a stronger base position

BOWLING
Approach is fairly steady and little momentum built up or taken into delivery, slight jump in on take off into gather meaning weight is angled towards leg side a touch and front foot blocking off as a result (see pic to the right).
Arms have a tendency to get a bit rounded making it difficult to control the ball.
Opportunities for improvement:
- Straighter run up into take off & back foot contact - Feet (heels) aligned more/closer to allow right hip to drive through (as achieved on the video when the poles were put in place)
- Arms working as straight as possible, front arm pulling down straight aiming to brush left thigh on way through with bowling arm as high as possible at point of release (imagine brushing your right ear or as near to as possible)
