Online Profile: Nathan Chadburn
RHB / RA Seam
Conisbrough CC
Excellent ability to lock wrist in strong behind the ball, supporting the seam well. Builds up momentum ok through run-up, falls away in delivery opening outwards sharply. When Nathan tends to get it wrong it is as a result of pulling the ball wider outside the RH batsman's off stump, through squaring his shoulders up early, opening outwards sharply.
Areas to work on:
Try to load bowling arm up more purposefully to encourage a higher release point coming around and over the top as high as possible (doesn't quite get high enough into bound to make the most of arm speed that could be generated and that would support a higher release point).
Alignment drills (ideally with intervention poles) would allow for working on trying to remain more upright in delivery and drive over braced front knee (this would also assist higher release) and gain more support from front arm pulling down vertically, instead of opening outwards.
