Stance - Looks comfortably setup with just head leaning off-side slightly which will make it harder to play down the ground well with control and power. .
Front foot - working with short strides unable to get weight through the ball to generate power without just relying on hand speed. Look at opening front foot stride length up more when getting out towards the ball and aim to bend front knee (currently braced often staying high on full'ish balls) to ensure contact is close beneath head/eye line (if/when looking to keep the ball on the floor). Back foot - Try to stay more side on to provide more options to the rising ball. Currently shoulders are squaring up back towards the bowler which limits the direction to play the ball (with front foot & shoulder opening it will encourage natural plain of the bat to push through midwicket). Try to keep shoulders as side on as possible to allow the bat to flow down through the line of the ball well for a clean contact. |
