Goals / Objectives leading into 2016:
Batting general improvement |
BATTING:
Keen to be aggressive which may well be a result of limited opportunities in games. Can get in some very good positions and can hit the ball well, most often when content to time the ball rather than get carried away throwing hands through as hard as possible to make contact which is when tends to lose shape on occasions. Quite a narrow stance for someone of his size (height) and opening slightly to more shoulder width apart could allow more opportunity to work from better/stronger positions front foot more consistently. |
BOWLING:
Head falling away heavily in delivery encouraging front foot to open the same way and point towards gully (putting strain through lower back and down front shin/ankle). Encouraged to remain more upright with head position leaning straight towards the batsman and driving over front knee - straight forwards accompanied by stronger front arm to also remain tucked in/more upright. |
