BATTING
-Ensure feet are square and toes up to middle stump, working from the same starting position every ball
-Try to balance the bat behind you as straight as possible to make it easier to bring down when the ball arrives (and not leave it dangling straight down until the ball is approaching)
See examples of these two points in the image below
-Work with a comfortable stride out towards the ball to allow weight through at point of contact (small stride at times preventing you getting weight through the ball to generate more power & this will also increase the likelihood of playing out in front of your body and the ball going in the air)

BOWLING
Alignment of run up/approach to the crease is quite wide with a slight jump inwards towards the stumps. That movement makes it difficult to remain in control at the point of back foot contact and as such creates a "blocking off" effect with front foot going across his back foot.
This makes it difficult to drive out of his bowling action and carry his momentum straight forwards as well as get his wrist fully behind the ball. It will also encourage the ball to push down the leg side because his weight is going in that direction courtesy of his take off jumping inwards towards the stumps.
-Straighten run up to ensure closer to the stumps and aim to align heels allowing for right hip to push out of action towards the batsman
-Try not to fall away with head position which tends to open front foot up to point towards the slips rather than straight down the wicket
-Work with arms as straight as possible to coincide with the above, ensuring front arm is locked in strong and tightly and then pulling straight down and through (brushing left thigh on its way down) to allow bowling arm to follow suit coming through straight - which will enable control as well as wrist to support the ball
